The Concept

The SkyLume TR is the most realistic artificial sun ever built. Combining the circular porthole aesthetic of the ER series with the high-intensity sun simulation technology of the T series, the TR projects a defined solar disc through a round aperture -- the closest engineering has come to placing a real sun behind your ceiling.

Unlike the T-series square panels which operate at a fixed 6,500K, the TR features full CCT tunability from 2,100K warm amber through 7,800K cool daylight blue. This means the TR can simulate not just a midday sun, but a sunrise, a golden hour, a cloudy overcast, or a clear blue noon -- all from the same circular fixture. The combination of sun disc projection and full spectrum control makes the TR the ultimate circadian lighting instrument.

Installation

Step 1: Identify structural ceiling mounting points rated for the panel weight (30 kg for TR300, 40 kg for TR600) plus appropriate safety margin. Use the circular template to mark the cutout.

Step 2: Cut the circular ceiling opening to 585mm diameter (TR300) or the corresponding dimension for TR600. Install the structural bracket and safety cable.

Step 3: Mount the high-power LED driver in an accessible location above the ceiling. Connect to mains power and route the high-current cable to the mounting position.

Step 4: Secure the TR panel to the structural bracket. Connect power, verify safety cable engagement, and power on. Configure CCT and scheduling via BLE Mesh or DALI interface.
